Fostering Support Worker - Doncaster - Part Time

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a, part-timeFostering Business Support Coordinatorto join Five Rivers Child Care, a leading Social Enterprise which has been “turning children’s lives around” since 1989.

TheFostering NorthBusiness Support Team work cohesively across the service. We are a friendly, hardworking team who enjoy working alongside our social workers and fostering support worker colleagues.

This is an office based role and you will be based in ourDoncasteroffice supporting our fostering teams.

Our Trauma Informed (ATIC) model integrates across our Fostering, Residential, Clinical, and Education services to achieve the best possible outcomes for young people.

Responsibilities
• Maintaining the CHARMS database to ensure compliance
• Answering telephone and email queries
• Processing regular checks for present foster carers and children
• Processing financial claims, liaising with the finance team
• Organising room bookings
• Attending monthly meetings and Taking minutes
• Ensuring Five Rivers policies and procedures are adhered to
• Any additional administrative task or projects maybe required by the business or fostering managers.
• To promote inclusion and participation of children and young people in the development of the foster service

Hours
This is a part-time role covering 22.5 hours per week.

You will have:
• The desire to be a team player who wants to achieve the best possible outcomes for all our children and foster carers
• Experience of working in the fostering sector and/or children/young people in social care (preferable)
• Excellent Word and Excel skills plus knowledge of PowerPoint
• The ability to handle complex situations
• Proven organisation skills and time management
• A valid driving licence
• The right to work in the UK
