Five Rivers Child Care in Chesterfield is seeking a Supervising Social Worker to support foster carers across the Midlands region. The role is hybrid, balancing field visits with office days, and carries a competitive salary plus car allowance.

You must be a qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England, with experience in children’s social care or fostering, and a current UK driving licence. The organisation offers supervision, a supportive team, and opportunities for career

Qualifications

• Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
• Experience working with children, young people and families.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a suitable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Providing supervision, guidance and ongoing support to foster carers
• Completing supervision visits, reviews and assessments
• Supporting carers to meet the individual needs of children in placement
• Working in partnership with local authorities and multi-agency professionals
• Advising carers through challenges and promoting positive outcomes
• Maintaining accurate records, assessments and reports
• Promoting safeguarding and best practice at all times
• Dedicated office day every Wednesday to collaborate with colleagues
