What is the job role?
We are looking for a new social worker to take on the role of assessing connected persons foster carers. Our connected persons team is a key focus of our family-valued approach, believing that children are best cared for within their network if it can be done safely with support.
This post is exempted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act; appointment will be conditional upon a satisfactory DBS check.
Who are we looking for?
The successful applicant will play a central role in increasing the proportion of children in care living with their extended family or friends. The candidate will benefit from joining a team committed to providing high-quality support to connected persons carers and special guardians.
