Peterborough City Council is recruiting foster carers to provide a loving, stable home for local children and young people in the Peterborough area. Foster carers receive weekly allowances, skills payments as experience grows, and tax relief on fostering income.

As a foster carer you will be home-based, supported by the in-house fostering team at Sand Martin House, Peterborough. This not-for-profit service discusses different fostering types to fit your commitments and lifestyle.

Qualifications

• No prior fostering experience required.
• Home-based role with full Foster Care team support.
• Willingness to undergo enhanced safeguarding checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide a loving, stable home for local children.
• Work with local authority to ensure children's welfare.
• Complete training and assessments with mentor support.
