Job summary

National Fostering Group is seeking a Carer Recruitment Officer to grow our network of foster carers. You will source and encourage enquiries through local engagement and undertake initial visits to applicants' homes, recording information on our database.

Responsibilities

• Source and encourage enquiries through local engagement and initial visits to applicants' homes.
• Raise awareness of fostering at local events to help generate enquiries and nurture the pool of prospective carers.
• Accurately record applicant information on the database and maintain up-to-date records.
• Support applicants from enquiry to approval and assist the training/assessment process with social work colleagues.
• Provide weekly reporting and analysis of local recruitment activity to inform strategy.
• Collaborate with other agencies as required to meet recruitment targets.
