Step-Forward Foster Carer with Foster Wales Denbighshire is recruiting a Step-Forward Foster Carer to support children transitioning from residential care into a stable family environment. You would welcome a young person, provide care, consistency and guidance, and collaborate with social workers and therapists.

This role offers meaningful change and is open to individuals or couples meeting the requirements and willing to work as self-employed.

Formación

• Aged 21 or over with right to work in the UK.
• Full driving licence and access to a suitable vehicle.
• Experience supporting children, young people or vulnerable adults with complex needs.
• Willing to register as self-employed and provide full-time care.
• Must have at least one spare bedroom dedicated to fostering.

Responsabilidades

• Provide full-time care for a young person transitioning from residential care.
• Create a stable, calm, and predictable home environment.
• Support emotional, behavioural and social development.
• Build strong, trusting relationships over time.
• Work with social workers, therapists and other professionals.
• Help the young person stay connected to education and community.

Conocimientos

Right to Work in UK

Full driving licence

Willing to register as self-employed

Experience with children/young people

Spare bedroom for fostering
