Job summary

Dataminr is hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer to deploy First Alert inside customer environments across Europe, including defense and national security contexts. You will own end-to-end delivery, build data pipelines, and craft operator-facing applications on Palantir Foundry.

You’ll travel 25–75% and collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders in fast-moving environments, contributing to mission-critical decisions in real time.

Qualifications

• Engineering background in CS/related field.
• Proficiency in Palantir Foundry data pipelines and apps.
• Programming proficiency: Python/Java/SQL/TS/JS/Bash/Go.
• 3+ years delivering production software or solutions engineering.
• Active NATO Secret clearance or willingness to obtain it.

Responsibilities

• Partner with defense and security customers to scope solutions.
• Design, build and deploy First Alert on Palantir Foundry.
• Integrate real-time intelligence into workflows and C2 tools.
• Build custom widgets to operationalize data insights.
• Own end-to-end solutions with minimal supervision.
• Travel to Europe 25–75% for on-site work.
