Strider Technologies seeks a mission-driven Forward Deployed Engineer to deliver cutting-edge technical solutions in dynamic, high-stakes environments. You’ll embed with customers, tailor Strider’s platform, and lead engineering execution in the field.

You will partner with analysts and operators, prototype rapidly, and own outcomes from inception to implementation while supporting both government and commercial missions. Travel will be substantial as required by projects.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in software engineering with full-stack or systems-level work.
• Proficiency in Python or Java and APIs.
• Experience with distributed systems and cloud (AWS preferred).
• Strong problem-solving and rapid prototyping ability.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel 30–70% based on mission requirements.
• Active UK security clearance (SC/DV) or eligibility preferred.

Key Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a focus on full-stack or systems-level development.

• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to rapidly prototype, iterate, and deploy in fast-paced environments.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in ambiguous or evolving mission contexts.
• Willingness to travel 30–70% of the time based on mission requirements.
