Job summary

STRATOS Technologies seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer to embed our Strategy Operating System into customer environments in a hybrid London-based role. You will translate strategic intent into live, scalable data flows and AI-enabled workflows that drive measurable outcomes.

You will work with Fortune 500s and fast-growth clients, delivering end-to-end data integration, analytics dashboards, and tailored solutions using PySpark, Python, SQL and modern tooling.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of solid experience in data engineering or analytics.
• Startup experience or top-tier consultancy preferred.
• Translate complex business requirements into clean data pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of PySpark, Python and SQL.
• Able to pick up new technologies quickly.

Responsibilities

• Ensure client implementations are working successfully.
• Solve customers’ hardest business challenges by deploying the STRATOS platform.
• Design and implement scalable generative AI workflows.
• Execute complex data integration using distributed technologies.
• Collaborate with clients to understand context, priorities and outcomes.

Tasks

• Ensure client implementations are working successfully
• Solve our customers’ hardest business challenges by adapting and deploying the STRATOS platform to their needs
• Design and implement scalable generative AI workflows using platforms like Palantir AIP
• Execute complex data integration using PySpark and other distributed technologies
• Collaborate directly with clients to understand context, priorities, and key outcome

Requirements

• Minimum 2-4 years of solid experience in data engineering or analytics.
• Experience at start-up companies and/or an excitement to experience first-hand the adventure that comes with a fast-scaling tech company, alternatively experience at a top-tier consultancy.
• The ability to translate complex and sometimes ambiguous business requirements into clean and maintainable data pipelines
• Excellent knowledge of PySpark, Python and SQL fundamentals
• The ability to get to grips with new technologies quickly

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

• Experience in dashboarding tools, Typescript and API development
• Familiarity with Airflow, DBT, Databricks
• Experience working with Enterprise Resource Planning (e.g. Oracle, SAP) and CRM systems
