Job summary

Plan:it is seeking a deployed engineer to work with enterprise engineering teams, owning deployments from pilot to production and identifying high-impact use cases. You will drive adoption and feed learnings back into the product roadmap, operating in a fast-paced environment with AI coding tool usage and high customer involvement.

This role requires a degree in a technical discipline and a track record of forward-deployed engineering, with comfort navigating ambiguous, rapidly changing settings

Want to work as a Deployed Engineer for one of the most technically ambitious AI companies in the world?

The company builds AI software that engineering teams use every day. They're scaling their London team significantly and need people who can operate at the intersection of serious technical depth and genuine commercial ownership.

About the Role

You'll embed directly with enterprise engineering teams, own deployments end to end, run pilots, identify high-impact use cases, and make adoption stick. You'll also feed what you learn back into the product roadmap. This is not pre-sales, not solutions consulting, and not pure engineering.

Expect significant travel, primarily across the UK and Europe.

Qualifications

• A degree from a top university in a technical discipline
• Computer science or closely related fields are preferred, but academic excellence in any rigorous subject matters

Required Skills

• Genuine founding or co-founding experience, ideally with fundraising behind it
• Comfortable in a codebase, debugging real systems, pulling PRs, and reasoning about technical architecture under pressure
• A track record in forward-deployed engineering
• Clear evidence of commercial ownership, not just client exposure
• Comfort operating in ambiguous, fast-moving environments without much structure
• Active use of AI coding tools day to day
