Job summary

Fruition Group is hiring for a hybrid, Leeds-based role focused on building AI-enabled systems at scale. You will own end-to-end delivery from prototype to production, emphasizing security, observability, and governance, while collaborating with client teams.

Ideal candidates bring production-ready AI experience, strong software fundamentals, and a drive to shape our internal AI platform with reusable accelerators and robust testing.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering fundamentals across clean code, testing, CI/CD and production systems.
• Proficient in Python, TypeScript or similar, with experience across multiple modern languages.
• Full-stack capability, including back-end and data engineering.
• Proven experience building and shipping production AI/LLM applications.
• Hands-on experience with RAG, AI agents, prompt engineering, tool orchestration and MCP.
• Experience with AI evaluation, testing, datasets and guardrails.
• Client-facing experience and an understanding of enterprise security, compliance and legacy environments.
• High autonomy, strong communication skills and a commercial, outcome-focused mindset.
• Vector databases, embeddings or fine-tuning.
• AWS or Google Cloud and startup or founder experience; open-source contributions or AI side projects

Responsibilities

• Build AI solutions using RAG, AI agents, LLM integrations and MCP
• Take solutions from prototype through to production, including security, scalability, guardrails and observability
• Build AI evaluation and testing frameworks to measure accuracy and reliability
• Work with complex client data, integrations and enterprise environments
• Work directly with clients, demo progress and iterate quickly based on feedback
• Develop the internal AI platform and reusable engineering accelerators
• Help upskill client engineering teams and stay on top of emerging AI technologies

Requirements
