Arden Education is supporting an outstanding provision seeking a Forest School unqualified Teacher.

This is a permanent position starting in September at a unique outdoor setting for students aged 11-19 with Autism in Leamington Spa.

We are looking for a passionate individual with experience in helping develop children in line with their academic and pastoral targets.

The successful candidate will deliver small group sessions at a dedicated base designed for a small group of students. This environment fosters a nurturing atmosphere, enabling us to provide the best educational experience once we have engaged students emotionally. Therefore, practitioners must build trusting relationships, provide security to vulnerable learners, communicate clearly and confidently, and demonstrate resilience under pressure.

Outdoor learning is central to our approach. The appointed candidate should advocate for outdoor learning, incorporating it into as many lessons as possible. Responsibilities include supporting pupils in processing new information, tailored to their manifestation of autism.

Experience:

Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience working with children and young people with Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC).

Working Hours:

- Monday to Friday (08:30 am - 3:30 pm)

- Term Time Only

Salary ranges from £21,940.92 to £24,071.90, depending on experience.
