Job summary

Acorn by Synergie is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Production Lead to oversee daily operations at our Bridgwater site, focusing on delivering high-quality, hand-crafted components for precision manufacturing. The role reports to the Production Controller and is a hands-on leadership position working closely with supervisors and the wider manufacturing team to ensure processes and standards are met.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in a manufacturing or engineering setting.
• Ability to communicate effectively with shop floor teams and supervisors.
• Strong organisational and planning skills; able to work autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Support Production Controller and team with daily operations.
• Ensure SOPs and procedures are followed to standard.
• Identify and resolve minor production issues; escalate complex problems.
• Assist in achieving safety, quality, delivery and cost objectives.
• Monitor timekeeping, breaks and productivity to optimise output.
