Job summary

Bennett And Game Recruitment is seeking an experienced Workshop Forklift Engineer to join a well-established family-run material handling business in Mansfield. You will service and repair forklift trucks and related equipment in a hands-on workshop.

The role offers Monday to Friday, 8am‑5pm with standby after probation, double-time overtime on standby, and opportunities for training and career progression within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Previous forklift or material handling experience.
• Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge.
• Good hydraulic and diagnostic skills.
• Experience with electric, diesel or LPG equipment.
• A reliable and professional approach.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Service and repair forklift trucks.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults.
• Work on electric, diesel and LPG equipment.
• Carry out planned maintenance and inspections.
• Fault‑find and complete repairs.
• Complete service paperwork.
• Maintain a clean and safe workshop.
• Work to company health & safety procedures.
