Barfoots of Botley is recruiting a Forklift & Warehouse Operative for full-time day shift. The role supports busy Logistics with safe transfer of produce to production, despatch and storage areas, picking/packing, and loading/unloading vehicles using MHE and forklifts.

The team-based environment spans Leythorne and Sefter sites. You will work in a temperature-controlled warehouse, maintain safety, and be trained across warehousing duties.

Competenze

• Previous experience in a Fresh Produce or FMCG Warehousing environment (Preferred).
• Forklift / Counter Balance Licence and experience utilising MHE preferable.
• Able to communicate effectively using basic verbal English.
• Confident and proactive with experience working to deadlines.
• Experience of working in a fast paced environment.
• Be an effective Team Player.

Forklift & Warehouse Operative

Full time DAY SHIFT positions, 4 days on, 4 days off

With various opportunities across our sites, duties and responsibilities will be centred around our busy Logistics departments. Working as part of a team, our warehouse operators and forklift drivers assist with the safe transfer of produce to and from production and storage areas, as well as picking & packing orders and loading unloading delivery vehicles utilising MHE and Forklift trucks where necessary. You will be confident working in a busy, temperature controlled, warehouse environment and manoeuvring goods around safely both inside and out. Reporting to the Team Leader, you will be passionate about providing a first class service at all times and be responsible for ensuring all operational warehousing tasks are completed in a safe, timely and efficient manner. Operating in both inside and outside areas with associated responsibilities.

Opportunities could be either Sefter Farm or Leythorne site based.
