Job summary

SRG Recruitment is seeking a highly motivated Forklift & Warehouse Operative for a busy Havant warehouse. The role involves picking and packing, loading/unloading deliveries, stock handling and ensuring a safe, tidy operation.

You will operate a Forklift/Reach Truck, maintain stock control, prepare goods for dispatch, and may undertake occasional 3.5T van deliveries. Previous warehouse experience and a valid forklift licence are required; Reach Truck licence is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience is preferred.
• Forklift licence required.
• Reach Truck licence is highly desirable.
• Good level of physical fitness.
• Reliable and hardworking attitude.
• Good attention to detail.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible approach to overtime when required.
• 3.5T van driving experience/license would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• General warehouse and logistics duties.
• Picking and packing customer orders.
• Loading and unloading deliveries.
• Moving and handling stock.
• Packing stock away and maintaining an organised warehouse.
• Wrapping and preparing pallets.
• Operating a Forklift / Reach Truck.
• Stock control and general inventory duties.
• Preparing goods for dispatch and delivery.
• Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy and safe.
• Following Health & Safety procedures.
• Eventually operating various warehouse machinery and equipment.
• Potential 3.5T van deliveries as required.
• Working as part of a busy warehouse and distribution team.
