Job description

Job Overview
- Maintain high standards of service continuity to ensure prompt delivery and collection of raw materials and finished products between B13 Warehouse and B2 production areas.

- Specific tasks and objectives will be agreed with the individual at regular intervals to meet changing operational needs of the business.

Main Duties

- Operate warehouse manual handling equipment, including high reach and counterbalance forklift trucks, trailer tow tractors, ride-on and push pallet trucks, and pallet inverters to move, load, wrap, and safely store palletized products on site.

- Support shift coverage for team holiday/sickness.

- Escalate any individual or team issues to the Distribution & Logistics Team leader.

- Participate in scheduled and ad hoc Mitie Toolbox Talks.

- Participate in GSK MyLearning and Mitie Learning Hub training requirements and ensure 100% compliance with KPIs.

- Carry out any other reasonable requests.

- Flexible approach to working environment.

- Ability to communicate effectively and foster good working relationships both internally and with clients.

- Ability to perform well under pressure and independently of supervision.
