Job summary

APEX APPOINT LTD is recruiting an experienced Forklift/Field Service Engineer to service, maintain and repair forklift trucks and other materials handling equipment across customer sites. This is a field-based role with a company van provided and regular overtime opportunities.

You will diagnose electrical, hydraulic and mechanical faults, complete service reports and deliver a professional service across your allocated territory.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing forklift trucks and MHE.
• Strong mechanical fault-finding skills with electrical/hydraulic knowledge preferred.
• Previous forklift experience is preferred; other transferable backgrounds may be considered.

Location: Field Based

Salary: £38,000 + Overtime OTE: Circa £40,000-£42,000

Company Van Provided We're recruiting for an experienced Forklift / Field Service Engineer to join a well-established materials handling business.

This is a field-based position carrying out servicing, maintenance and repair work on forklift trucks and other materials handling equipment across customer sites.

The Role

• Servicing and maintaining forklift trucks and MHE
• Reactive breakdowns and fault finding
• Planned preventative maintenance
• Electrical and mechanical repairs
• Diagnosing hydraulic, mechanical and electrical faults
• Attending customer sites across your allocated territory
• Completing service documentation and job reports
• Providing a professional service to customers
