Job Description:

Our client is a leading Manufacturer and Distributor operating across 174 countries worldwide. Headquartered in Rochdale, Lancashire, they are at the forefront of delivering high-quality products globally.

We are seeking a dedicated FLT Counterbalance Driver to join our dynamic team and contribute to our manufacturing operations. The role will involve a variety of tasks to ensure smooth production processes and the timely delivery of our products.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Set up pumps and associated equipment for production runs.
  2. Follow batch sheet instructions meticulously.
  3. Measure, weigh, charge, and mix raw materials into vessels.
  4. Monitor meters and instrument readings, adjusting as necessary.
  5. Pack and load finished items into appropriate containers, labelling them with batch numbers.
  6. Complete all paperwork accurately and efficiently.
  7. Clean production tanks as required.
  8. Report equipment, machinery, or production process issues to supervisors or maintenance engineers.
  9. Assist with loading and unloading vehicles or tankers.
  10. Utilise internal database for goods tracking and reporting discrepancies.
  11. Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of work area.
  12. Operate forklifts safely and responsibly.
  13. Adhere to fire safety procedures and report property damage.
  14. Maintain confidentiality regarding company information.
Requirements:
  1. Valid Counterbalance FLT Licence.
  2. Prior experience in a Manufacturing environment preferred.
  3. PC literacy for data input and order checking.
  4. Self-motivated with keen attention to detail.
Additional Information:

Work distribution: Approximately 30% FLT work and 70% Warehouse/Manufacturing.
Full induction and necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be provided.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:30.
