Staffline is now recruiting Forklift Truck Drivers for our client in Sittingbourne.

The rate of pay is - £ for Days and £ for Nights.

This is a full time role working on a 4 on 4 off rotating shift pattern.

Experience in a similar role required.

Your Role as a FLT / Fork Lift Driver

• Operating a forklift safely to run production operations and service haulers.
• Working consistently to quality standards in a fast-paced production environment.
• Being the key contact for all haulers on-site.
• Vacuuming Lift Operation to sort CHEP pallets to specific standards.
• Ensuring trucks and equipment are well maintained and reporting operational problems including damage to trucks or other property.
• Safely and efficiently directing visiting vehicles whilst loading and offloading goods.
• Carefully handling and storing the company's hire stock while following required stock rotations.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills, approachable, adaptable, and flexible to meet operational needs.
• Physically fit, as manual pallet handling is part of daily tasks.
• Strong safety mindset with the ability to plan and manage time effectively.

Experience Required

• Experience working within a fast-paced warehouse yard or similar environment.
• Experience communicating with haulers.
• Minimum 2 years of counterbalance forklift operation experience.
• Basic understanding of warehouse management systems.
• Beginner-level problem-solving skills and continuous improvement (CI).
• Ability to use technology and systems for processing vehicles.
• Experience operating MHE.
