Job description

Pertemps is excited to partner with a fantastic local manufacturing company near Woodhall Spa, Lincolnshire, to recruit a skilled Forklift Truck Driver to join their thriving warehouse team. This role is critical in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of goods, supporting the final stages of order preparation before dispatch to customers.

What will I be expected to do as a FLT Driver?
  • Safely operate forklifts to move, load, and unload goods and materials.
  • Transport products between production, warehouse, and storage areas.
  • Conduct quality checks on goods to ensure they meet company standards.
  • Perform routine forklift maintenance checks to ensure safe operation.
  • Assist with general warehouse duties as required.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace.
  • Be adaptable and eager to develop new skills.
What skills do I need?
  • Valid counterbalance forklift truck licence/certification is essential.
  • Previous experience as a forklift driver is preferred.
  • Experience in a warehouse or production environment is advantageous.
  • Strong focus on safety and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle heavy goods and work in a fast-paced setting.
  • Excellent timekeeping and a positive, proactive attitude.
What hours will I be working?

Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

What will I be paid?

The pay for this position is £12.21 per hour. Overtime is available after 40 hours worked, paid at £18.32 per hour.
