About The Role

The main responsibilities include servicing, maintaining, and repairing forklift trucks and other material handling equipment. Daily tasks involve:

• Servicing, maintaining, overhauling, fault finding, and resolving faults on company products.
• Responding to breakdowns.
• Providing local after-sales support to customers.
• Promptly dealing with customer inquiries, problems, or complaints.
• Managing vehicle stock and deliveries.
• Achieving set targets.

Candidate Requirements

Ideal candidates will have experience as a forklift engineer, plant fitter, plant technician, or in industrial equipment roles. Additional skills include:

• Mechanical engineering experience.
• Basic electrical knowledge (beneficial).
• Effective planning and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Good rapport-building with customers.
• Full UK driving license.
