Job summary

Avantor is hiring a Warehouse Operative to execute day-to-day operations including receiving, storing, and shipping materials, and to maintain accurate inventory in our system. The role involves operating forklifts and pallet jacks, meeting safety protocols, and supporting timely order fulfillment.

You will work with the team to resolve routine issues, book out goods, and help meet KPI targets while continuing on-site training and using SAP-based systems and Microsoft Office tools.

Qualifications

• Forklift license desirable
• Physically fit and detail oriented
• Team oriented and able to work with others
• Microsoft Office familiarity
• SAP or warehouse systems familiarity
• Warehouse picking experience beneficial

Responsibilities

• Sortation and loading of customer orders into defined delivery routes. Some heavy lifting involved.
• Handle all hazardous products in line with company training.
• Loading lorries, vehicles containing boxes and pallets. Booking out goods.
• General Warehouse Duties to support the warehouse team.
• Comply with the site rules, including manual handling & health and safety, at all times.
• Dealing with Customer/Warehouse queries.
• Liaising with our operations team.
• Meet Warehouse KPI targets.
• Utilize VWR resource and equipment to perform role effectively.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
