Job description

Job Title: Forklift Operative / Production Operative

Location: Medway Towns

Are you an experienced forklift driver working within a busy production environment? Do you hold a valid counterbalance forklift licence? If so, we want to hear from you!

Our client is seeking a dedicated and skilled Forklift Operative / Production Operative to join a busy dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a successful and growing company with the potential for personal and professional development.

This will be a shift pattern of both days and nights working 12 hours.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials and products around the facility.
- Oversee the production process
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring adherence to all health and safety regulations.
- Assist in the loading and unloading of materials as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure the smooth running of production activities.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong experience in the concrete industry is preferred
- Valid counterbalance forklift licence is a must.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy under pressure.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

The successful candidate will start on a temporary basis but will go permanent after passing probation period. This will be working day shifts Monday to Friday 7am - 5pm. Overtime is paid at time and half over 40 hours worked.
