Forklift Operator / Production Operative

outskirts of Maidstone ( will ideally need to drive due to location and start time)

c.GBP26k- GBP28k DOE

Monday to Friday 7.30am to 4pm

My client is looking for a Production Operative with Forklift experience to join their team on the manufacturing & production side. If you have a valid counterbalance licence and enjoy physical work, then please APPLY NOW!

Duties include:

  • Operating forklifts along with other machinery and equipment efficiently to ensure smooth production processes.
  • Work at height, in confined spaces and in an industrial manufacturing environment where temperatures can vary
  • Need to carry materials and products up to 20kg independently
  • Monitor and maintain product quality standards.
  • Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
  • Follow health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to meet production targets.
  • Any other duties required.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A valid counterbalance forklift licence this is essential
  • A good level of physical fitness with the ability to lift heavy items
  • A willingness to work at height and in confined spaces
  • A track record of reliability and punctuality in a working environment
  • Experience operating machinery
  • Access to a vehicle - this is essential due to limited public transport access.
