Job description

Staffline Recruitment is working in partnership with a large food processing company based in Duncrue, Belfast, seeking 2 Forklift Driver/Production Operatives on a temporary to permanent basis.

Rate of Pay: Please refer to the official job posting for details.

Working Hours: Fixed hours with some flexibility required:

  • 14:00 - 22:30 - Monday to Friday
  • 16:00 - 12:30 - Monday to Friday

Additional benefits include car parking, potential for progression, and the opportunity for temporary to permanent employment for the right candidate.

Requirements:

  • Valid counterbalance forklift licence
  • Experience in a production environment
  • Availability for shifts

Job Duties:

  • Perform machinery and equipment safety checks
  • Carry out forklift duties (Counterbalance)
  • Operate rotator on counterbalance forklift as required
  • Willingness to undertake Reach Truck, electric pallet truck, and pallet stacker training as needed
  • Ensure department safety and hygiene standards
  • Meet daily production targets as instructed by the Line Leader/Production Management
  • Coordinate with other departments as necessary
  • Minimize downtime and waste
  • Maintain a flexible and proactive attitude
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with BRC & customer food quality standards
  • Work with the team to meet departmental KPIs
