Job description

Gap Personnel are recruiting Forklift Truck Drivers (HiLOP), Monday to Friday for our client, a leading Logistics Provider with a flagship Distribution Centre in Corby NN17.

Pay: £13.98 (this will raise to £14.87 after completing the HLOP training).

Overtime: After 37.5 hours at £21.29.

Shifts: 2 weekly rotation Monday to Friday 08:00 AM - 16:00 PM then 16:00 PM - 00:00 PM.

Duties include but are not limited to:

1. To undertake warehouse duties as trained.
2. Ensuring a flow of stock through the distribution centre from receipt to despatch.
3. Handballing from containers to conveyors.
4. To operate lifting equipment, manual or mechanical as trained.
5. To work to company key performance standards.
6. Working to health & safety standards as trained.
7. Play an active part in creating a safe working environment.

The successful candidate will:

1. Have previous warehouse experience.
2. Be able to manage a busy goods in receiving role.
3. Able to work shifts reliably.
4. Be comfortable with heights – when trained, the highest height of picking will be 20 metres.
