Counterbalance Forklift Driver

Friday, Saturday, Sundays with ad-hoc shifts during the week where possible

Overview
We are seeking a number of skilled Forklift Operators to join our dynamic team and work with one of our clients based in Portsmouth who needs additional cover, predominantly on a weekend and will be on days and nights. Working hours will be 7am-6pm and 6pm-6am and we can work with your availability on either days or nights.

Duties

• Operate forklifts to load and unload materials from lorries and storage areas.
• Safely transport goods throughout the warehouse, ensuring proper handling and storage.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on forklift equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain an organised and clean work environment.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to minimise risks associated with forklift operation.

Skills

• Proficient in operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 25 kg) safely and efficiently.
• Experience in shipping and receiving processes within a warehouse setting.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills to maintain an orderly workspace.

Forklift assessments will take place before role starting.
