Are you an experienced forklift operator with a strong focus on safety and efficiency? Our client, a well-established logistics company, is seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join their busy operation in Leeds. This full-time, permanent role offers great stability, a supportive team environment, and the chance to develop your career in logistics.

The Role

As a Forklift Operator, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth and safe handling of goods within the warehouse. Your main responsibilities will include:

Safely operating counterbalance and reach forklifts to load, unload, move, stack, and store goods.

Handling deliveries - checking quantities and condition, and completing all necessary documentation.

Supporting the organisation of stock to maximise warehouse space and efficiency.

Preparing goods for dispatch, ensuring accuracy and timely turnaround.

Carrying out regular equipment checks and reporting any faults.

Maintaining a clean, safe working environment in line with company and H&S standards.

Liaising with drivers and subcontractors, providing clear instructions for loading/unloading.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

Weekly alternating shifts: 7am-4pm and 9am-6pm (1-hour lunch)

Overtime available at 1.5x hourly rate

Occasional Saturday mornings (paid as overtime)

About You
