Job description

We are looking for a Forklift Driver to join our team at Pilgrims Windmill Lane.

The successful candidate will need to deliver excellent results by following standard work, enabling the efficient flow of products and materials, and continually improving the work environment. The role involves helping the team achieve the required metrics for the area, with a key focus on colleague safety, throughput, and adherence to standards.

Responsibilities:

1. Loading and unloading of inbound and outbound trailers.
2. Assisting with picking, finding, and unloading pallets for the racking.
3. Assisting other departments when needed with forklift operations.
4. Scanning pallets for loads.
5. Unloading equipment such as crates and empty pallets.

Skills & Knowledge:

• Proficient written, numerical, and verbal skills – Essential.
• Fluency in English (oral and written) – Essential.
• Experience in Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) or food manufacturing – Desirable.
• Technical ability to complete standard work at rated throughput/speed – Essential.
• Valid Forklift License – Desirable.
