Right Now Group are recruiting for a Forklift Operative to join our client, a cargo ground handler at Heathrow!

The role is working within a busy warehouse environment alongside the client's airline partners, ensuring their cargo is delivered safely and securely around the world!

Duties and Responsibilities of a Forklift Operative:

• Loading and unloading vehicles carrying a variety of cargo using a forklift truck and other mechanical equipment, as well as performing some manual handling.
• You will be expected to use hand-held devices to locate and identify cargo.
• Process paperwork in accordance with our clients' requirements.
• Handling special cargo products
• Building and breaking pallets
• Screening cargo
• Preparing and palletising cargo as needed.

Skills required to be a Forklift Operative:

• Forklift Licence (counterbalance or reach) is essential.
• Promote Health & Safety to maintain a safe and secure working environment.
• Able to travel to Feltham and Heathrow
• Previous warehouse experience is essential.
• We will need to be able to complete Pre-employment checks. This will include a 5-year checkable employment / education history, DBS check (criminal record check)

Additional Information:

• Location: Feltham /Heathrow
• Shifts: You will be required to work a shift pattern consisting of 4 on 4 off. This will be a mixture of days and nights in the following format:
• Hours: 07:00 - 19:00 (2 days) / 19:00 - 07:00 (2 nights)
• Bonus: £1200 Attendance Bonus paid end of the year
