Forklift Driver - 4-Day Work Week - Caterpillar Belfast

Are you a skilled Forklift Driver looking for a fantastic opportunity to balance your work and personal life? We are currently recruiting for dedicated professionals to join the team at Caterpillar's premier facility in Larne. Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift truck and other relevant equipment for onsite component and equipment movements, including loading boxes, crates, skids, and frames for waste disposal.
• Complete all necessary paperwork accurately regarding component and equipment movements.
• Inspect, maintain, and operate machinery strictly within company guidelines.
• Ensure full compliance with safety, quality standards, and the 5S program.
• Display behavior and conduct consistent with our Values in Action.
• Provide training to other employees as and when required.

Qualifications

• Essential: Valid forklift license and previous relevant experience.
• Ability to follow and comprehend verbal, specific, and detailed work instructions.
• Competency in basic arithmetic calculations.
• Excellent communication skills and proven experience working effectively in a team environment.
• Flexibility to work reasonable amounts of overtime and various shift patterns.
• Desired: Reasonable computer literacy, previous experience in a lean manufacturing environment, and the ability to prioritize and organize work sequences.

Hours of Work & Salary

This is a full-time position working 37.5 hours per week on a 4-day schedule (Monday to Thursday).

Pay Rates: Day Shift £14.84/hr | Night Shift £19.97/hr
Overtime: £22.26/hr (first 10 hours) | £29.68/hr (after 10 hours)
Day Shift: Mon: 07:00 - 17:15 | Tues - Thurs: 07:00 - 16:45
Night Shift: Mon: 20:15 - 06:30 | Tues - Thurs: 20:45 - 06:30
