Join Our Team as a Forklift Operative at Heathrow

Right Now Group is recruiting for a large cargo ground handler at Heathrow Airport! We are seeking experienced Forklift Operatives to join our client, a prestigious Ground Handler, in their dynamic warehouse environment, working alongside airline partners to ensure cargo is delivered safely and securely worldwide.

Heathrow

Hours

Shift pattern of days and nights: 4 days on, 4 days off, with shifts of 06:30 - 18:30 (days) and 18:30 - 06:30 (nights).

Salary

£31,500 - £32,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Assist with loading and unloading vehicles using forklifts and other mechanical equipment, including manual handling tasks.
• Use hand-held devices to locate and identify cargo.
• Process paperwork according to client requirements.
• Assist with breaking and building ULDs such as PAGs, PMCs, and AKEs.
• Inspect incoming cargo for discrepancies, damage, or concerns during unloading.

Skills and Requirements

• Valid forklift licence (counterbalance or reach) is essential.
• Promote health and safety to maintain a secure working environment.
• Previous warehouse experience is desirable.
• Ability to complete pre-employment checks, including a 5-year employment/education history and DBS check.
