Job summary

Masstemps is recruiting a Forklift Operator / Labourer to join a busy warehouse and yard operation in Tipton. The role combines forklift driving with general labouring duties in a fast-paced environment.

Applicants must hold a valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence and be comfortable with manual handling; experience with Flexi/Bendi forklifts is a plus but not required. This is a long-term opportunity with a well-established company.

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (essential).
• Flexi/Bendi forklift experience is advantageous but not essential.
• Forklift refresher training can be provided for the right candidate.
• Previous warehouse, manufacturing or yard experience.
• Comfortable carrying out manual handling and labouring duties.
• Reliable with a strong work ethic.
• Good attention to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently as part of a team in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck to safely move stock and materials around the site.
• Loading and unloading deliveries.
• Coiling and handling copper cables.
• Assisting with storage, movement and preparation of materials.
• Carrying out general labouring duties as required.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.
• Following all health and safety procedures.
• Supporting the warehouse team to meet daily production and dispatch targets.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pm
Pay Rate: £13.00 – £14.00 per hour
