MK College Group is offering an exciting opportunity for a passionate individual to join our team as a Forklifting and Warehousing Instructor at HMP Erlestoke. This role involves delivering FLT, MHE, and Warehousing qualifications at Levels 1 and 2 to small groups of learners within a secure environment.
A teaching/training/instructing qualification is desirable but not essential. If you hold an industry-recognised forklift qualification and are willing to work towards a teaching qualification, we will support your development.
As a successful FLT and Warehousing Instructor, you will inspire learners and provide a positive, supportive learning experience. Your focus will be on helping them achieve qualifications, building confidence, and developing soft skills for employment and further education.
We’re looking for someone with strong communication skills who can motivate and engage learners. Classes typically consist of three students, supported by a workshop technician and prison mentors. Each session lasts around three hours, allowing meaningful and adaptable lessons that make a lasting impact.
MK College is committed to fairness and respect for all applicants, regardless of background, disability, or other characteristics. We particularly encourage applications from under-represented groups. All offers are subject to satisfactory pre-employment checks, including a DBS check and security clearance up to CTC level.
