Job summary

Interaction Recruitment PLC is recruiting a Field Service Engineer covering Epsom and the surrounding area. You will service and repair forklifts and other material handling equipment at customer sites, with a strong emphasis on safety and quality.

The role offers a basic salary of £37,000–£42,000 with OTE £50,000+, a company van and fuel card, door-to-door travel, 24 days holiday plus bank holidays, and a company pension. Overtime provides additional earnings and clear progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical fault-finding skills.
• Good hydraulic and electrical knowledge.
• Experience working on engines and mobile machinery.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Servicing and maintaining forklift trucks.
• Diagnosing electrical, hydraulic and mechanical faults.
• Attending breakdowns and carrying out reactive repairs.
• Completing planned preventive maintenance (PPM).
• Repairing engines, drive systems, hydraulics and electrical components.
• Recording all work completed via engineer reports.
• Managing workload efficiently while maintaining high workmanship standards.
