Job summary

Builder Depot is seeking experienced Forklift Drivers at our Staples Corner branch in London to load and unload trucks, move goods and assist with deliveries while maintaining safety and efficiency.

You will operate counter balance and reach trucks, replenish stock and keep areas clean, with a focus on accuracy, speed and customer service in a fast-paced retail environment. The role offers training and long-term career progression within a leading independent builders merchants in the UK.

Qualifications

• Experience operating counter balance forklift and reach truck.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication, both verbal and written English.

Responsibilities

• Loading and off-loading trucks.
• Assisting with deliveries of goods and supplies.
• Picking and packing orders.
• Moving and storing goods safely.
• Stock replenishment and remerchandising.

• Keeping the work area clean and tidy.
• Providing high levels of customer service at all times.
• Previous experience of using a counter balance and reach truck.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Good communication skills (fluent in verbal & written English).
• Self motivated with a positive attitude.
• A team player who has the ability to work unsupervised.
