Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment is currently looking to recruit a Forklift Driver / Yard operative for an established client in the Langar (NG13) area of Nottingham.

About the client:

This global brand is looking to expand their friendly team at their site in Langar.

Pay & Benefits for you:

GBP12.21 - GBP13.00 per hour (Overtime at a premium rate)

Stable day shift (08:30-17:00 Monday to Friday)

Weekly pay whilst with the agency

Free on-site parking provided

Duties include:

1. Loading and unloading of goods with a forklift truck or driving machines
2. Check in all goods received for quantity, damage and serial numbers
3. Keeping the yard tidy
4. Inventory Management: Complete required documentation for all inbound and outbound movements of machines and components.
5. Jet washing and preparation of machines

On the job training given

What we need from you:

1. Live locally to Langar or have access to your own transport
2. FLT licences preferable
3. Available to do a stable day shift (and overtime where required to ensure orders are dispatched on time)
4. Have work experience in a similar role
5. Wanting temporary ongoing work that could lead to a permanent position for the right person
6. Able to start assignment as soon as possible
7. Willingness to learn on the job and not be afraid to ask questions if unsure on anything
8. Be physically fit as this role is very repetitive and will require a large amount of manual handling
