Forklift Driver Warehouse Operative - Days

We are seeking a permanent Forklift Driver Warehouse Operative for day shifts. The role involves order picking, pallet recording, and loading trucks to ensure timely dispatch of finished products.

Main Job Purpose

Responsible for picking orders according to delivery notes, recording pallets, and loading trucks for dispatch.

Principal Accountabilities

Safety

• Follow safety policies, rules, and procedures.
• Report hazards and dangerous situations.
• Perform daily FTL checks and report issues.

Daily Tasks

• Pick orders based on delivery notes.
• Load dispatch trucks and complete necessary paperwork.
• Manage gas bottle cages, ensuring proper storage of empties and full bottles.
• Assist line supply operators and forklift drivers as needed.
• Check for and remove broken pallets.
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping standards.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential:

• Reliable, punctual, organized, team player, willing to learn, enthusiastic.
• Basic English skills (spoken and written).

Additional:

• Experience with SAP, scanners, PPT.
• Clamp truck experience is desirable but not essential (training provided).
