Job summary

A staffing agency in Milton Keynes is seeking an experienced FLT Driver for a temporary to permanent role at a client site. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe operation of forklift trucks within a busy warehouse environment and will play a key role in the movement of goods. Candidates must have prior experience, a valid FLT Counterbalance license, and the ability to work a 4 on 4 off shift pattern.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Warehouse Operative, including FLT operation.
• Possession of a valid FLT Counterbalance license (proof required) - B1 licence.
• Experience operating reach trucks.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work the 4 on 4 off shift pattern (6 AM - 6 PM).
• Strong work ethic and commitment to safety.
• Physical stamina for warehouse work.
• Reliability and punctuality.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure.

Job description

Are you an experienced FLT Driver seeking a new opportunity in Milton Keynes? We have a temporary to permanent role available at the DS Smith site that could be ideal for you.

Role: Warehouse/FLT Driver
Location: DS Smith, Anderson Gate, Milton Keynes MK4 4AE
Pay: £16 per hour
Shift Pattern: 4 days on, 4 days off, 6 AM - 6 PM (12-hour shifts)
Duration: 3 months initially (temporary to permanent)

As a Warehouse FLT Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklift trucks within a busy warehouse environment. You will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods from receiving to dispatch, working as part of a collaborative team committed to providing excellent service.
