Forklift Driver/ Van Driver up to 3.5 Tonne

Job Details

Location: New Southgate, London (N11)
Area: Drivers
Salary: From £12.50 to £14 per hour

We are seeking an experienced Forklift Driver who can also operate our 3.5 tonne van when required. The working hours are 8am - 5pm, Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities

Forklift Driver

• Loading and offloading trucks.
• Assisting with deliveries of goods and supplies.
• Picking and packing orders.
• Moving and storing goods correctly.
• Replenishing stock and remerchandising.
• Maintaining a clean and tidy work area.
• Providing excellent customer service.

Van Driver

• Performing multi-drop deliveries safely and efficiently.
• Collecting materials and assisting with loading.
• Unloading goods at customer locations.
• Transferring stock between branches.
• Conducting vehicle walk-around checks.
• Using app-based software to inform customers of delivery status.
• Collecting signatures and issuing invoices.

Qualifications and Skills

For Forklift Drivers

• Experience with counterbalance and reach trucks.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written English).
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude.
• Team player capable of working independently.

For Van Drivers

• Clean full UK driving license.
