Job summary

Major Recruitment Leeds is seeking a reliable FLT Driver to join our warehouse team on a Temp Perm basis. The role involves operating forklift trucks to load, unload, and organize goods while maintaining safety standards and accurate inventory records.

The candidate should have a Reach or Counterbalance Certificate and be available Monday to Friday during daytime hours, with some fixed night/weekend part-time shifts. Parking is available on-site.

Qualifications

• Valid Reach or Counterbalance Certificate.
• Ability to stand, walk and lift moderate weights as required.
• Ability to follow safety protocols at all times.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklift trucks and other warehouse equipment to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the facility.
• Handle materials efficiently, ensuring accurate stacking, storage, and retrieval in designated areas.
• Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory movements and update records accurately.
• Assist with shipping and receiving activities, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation.
• Perform heavy lifting tasks as required while adhering to safety protocols to prevent injuries.
