Job summary

Workchain is seeking an experienced Reach Forklift Driver for a day-shift temporary role in Wigston, Leicestershire. You will move goods around the warehouse, assist with orders and loading, and perform routine checks to ensure safe operations.

The ideal candidate holds a current Reach forklift certification and has solid warehouse experience, with a strong commitment to health and safety and reliable, punctual work habits.

Qualifications

• Current Reach Forklift Truck certification is required.
• Previous warehouse or materials-handling experience.
• Good awareness of workplace health and safety.
• Ability to work accurately and follow instructions.
• Reliable, punctual and physically capable of warehouse duties.
• A cooperative approach and commitment to safe working practices.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Reach forklift safely and responsibly.
• Load, unload and move stock within the warehouse.
• Place goods into racking and retrieve items as required.
• Assist with preparing orders and goods for dispatch.
• Complete routine equipment checks and report any issues.
• Follow site safety procedures and maintain tidy working areas.
• Work effectively with warehouse and delivery colleagues.
