Job summary

Pertemps in Burton-on-Trent is seeking experienced FLT Counterbalance and Reach Truck Drivers for a busy warehouse. 48 hours per week across 8- and 12-hour shifts, with night patterns Sunday–Thursday or Monday–Friday. Immediate starts available and a 3-day site training.

You will operate FLT trucks, load/unload, move stock, and maintain safety checks. Requires valid licences, warehouse experience, good attendance, and ability to work nights. Potential for permanent roles.

Qualifications

• Valid FLT Counterbalance and/or Reach Truck licence.
• Previous FLT warehouse experience.
• Reliable with good attendance and timekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate FLT Counterbalance and/or Reach Trucks in the warehouse.
• Load and unload goods from vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Move pallets and stock around the warehouse and storage areas.
• Put away incoming stock into correct locations.
• Pick and replenish stock as required.
• Load pallets and prepare goods for dispatch.
• Check stock and ensure goods are stored correctly and securely.
• Complete daily FLT safety checks before operating the truck.
• Follow all warehouse health & safety procedures and site regulations.
• Maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment.
• Assist with general warehouse duties when required.
• Work as part of a team to meet daily targets and deadlines.

Positions Available: 3–4 FLT Drivers
Hours: 48 hours per week
Pay Rate: £14.45 per hour (including shift premium)
Overtime: £19.91 per hour
We are currently recruiting for experienced FLT Counterbalance / Reach Truck Drivers to join a busy warehouse operation in Burton-on-Trent.

Shift Details

• 48 hours per week
• Combination of 8-hour and 12-hour shifts
• Night shift patterns:
  
  • Sunday–Thursday, or
  • Monday–Friday
• 3 days of initial site training
• Immediate starts available

Key Duties & Responsibilities
