Job summary

Pilgrim’s Europe in Carrickmacross is seeking dedicated Forklift Drivers to join our Supply Chain team. You will operate power pallet trucks and forklifts, delivering components to storage areas and assisting with stock control.

Responsibilities include scanning, loading/unloading, and ensuring accurate paperwork, with emphasis on safety and team collaboration. Overtime and weekend work may be required. Competitive hourly rates and pension benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Previous forklift driving experience preferred.
• Warehouse experience is desirable but not essential.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate power pallet trucks and forklifts (Counterbalance & Reach).
• Take responsibility for delivery of components to storage/use areas.
• Scan components to relevant areas and maintain stock control; conduct stocktakes.
• Load and unload deliveries to and from factory stores and trailers.
• Check loads for validity and paperwork; report errors or discrepancies.
• Issue goods to production and manage stock rotation to minimise waste.
• Work as part of a team and be willing to learn and develop skills.
• Be flexible to work other areas within Stores and be available for overtime/weekends.

Shift Pattern

• Monday 09:00 - 16:00. Tuesday - Thursday 07:30 - 16:00. Friday 07:30 - 16:30

Responsibilities

• Use power pallet trucks and Forklifts (Counterbalance & Reach).
• Take responsibility for the operation of delivery of components to areas for storage / use
• Scanning of components to relevant areas while eliminating errors in terms of stock control also carrying out stocktakes of ingredients / components.
• Loading and unloading deliveries to and from factory stores areas and trailers.
• Checking loads for validity, paperwork etc. and reporting of any errors / discrepancies found.
• Issuing goods to production as required and in correct stock rotation to minimise disruption / wastage.
• Working as part of a team with willingness to learn and develop knowledge and skills.
• Be flexible and adaptable to change at short notice to work other areas within Stores.
• Be available to work overtime and weekends.
