Job summary

Major Recruitment Huddersfield is hiring a Forklift Truck Driver in the Baildon/Shipley area. This full-time role offers ongoing work with a potential for a permanent contract. Training is provided to support all levels of experience.

duties include goods in/out, loading/unloading, and stock handling with a strong emphasis on health and safety. Shift patterns rotate weekly, with on-site parking, uniform, andcanteen facilities available.

Qualifications

• Counterbalance or Bendi FLT licence required; expired/in-house accepted with proof.
• Able to perform physical work and manual handling.
• Good communication and time management skills; reliable and safety minded.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload containers and vehicles.
• Pick, move and store stock accurately within the warehouse.
• Assist with manual handling of heavier items when required.
• Carry out Goods In or Goods Out duties depending on your experience and business requirements.
• Follow warehouse and manufacturing procedures.
• Maintain high standards of health and safety.
