Job summary

Stafflex are recruiting for a Counterbalance and Reach FLT Driver based in Huddersfield. The role is temporary with the potential to progress to full-time permanent employment. Pay is £14 per hour with shifts from Monday to Thursday 7AM–5PM and Friday 7AM–3PM.

A valid FLT licence is essential for this on-site position. The successful candidate will move stock, load/unload deliveries, manage FIFO stock rotation and maintain a clean, safe warehouse environment while adhering to health and safety

Qualifications

Must hold a valid Counterbalance and Reach FLT licence.
Reliable, hardworking and motivated with a can-do attitude.
Excellent communication skills and a flexible approach to work.

Responsibilities

Move stock between warehouse and production areas to support daily requirements.
Load and unload deliveries safely and efficiently.
Manage stock rotation using FIFO (First In, First Out).
Prepare pallets for storage and despatch, including wrapping and labelling.
Keep the warehouse and surrounding areas clean, tidy and safe.
Follow company procedures, health & safety requirements and relevant legislation.
Carry out routine checks to ensure warehouse equipment is safe and fit for use.
Provide general support to the management team when required.
Assist with other reasonable warehouse duties as needed.
