We have several exciting opportunities to work for a packaging manufacturer based in Aylesham, Kent. Pay rates range from £12.21 to £13.34 per hour, depending on the role and shift.

Forklift Position Requirements

Applicants must hold a forklift license and have at least 12 months of experience driving a truck. We offer full support to help you succeed in your role. Shifts for Packing Operative

• Day shift: 6am-6pm, 4 days on, 4 days off (12-hour shifts, Monday to Sunday), temporary to permanent

Pay Details

• £12.21 per hour
• Paid weekly

Main Duties of Packing Operative

• Check product quality for defects and pack the correct quantity
• Immediately inform setters of any defects to reduce wastage and ensure quality
• Complete all documentation related to hygiene and quality standards
• Maintain good housekeeping and hygiene through a 'Clean as you go' approach
• Assist in running multiple machines if required
• Follow all health and safety regulations and wear appropriate PPE
• Perform other reasonable duties as required by the business

Main Duties of Forklift Driver

Similar to the packing operative, but also involves driving a counterbalance forklift to move pallets around the warehouse and loading bays.

Shifts for Forklift Driver

• Day shift: 6am-2pm, rotating to 2pm-10pm
• Night shift: 10pm-6am

Pay Details

• £12.50 per hour for day shifts
• £13.34 per hour for night shifts
• Paid weekly
