Job description

FLT OPERATORS REQUIRED - IMMEDIATE STARTS ASAP

If you have experience operating FLT trucks and are interested in working on an in-house license (subject to successful assessment and training), please reach out!
Anyone with a current FLT license will still need to undergo training and assessment to determine suitability. If you also have clamp experience, that's an added advantage!

Shifts are typically 10-12 hours, 3-4 days per week.
Working hours: 6am - 6pm and 6pm - 6am, including weekends.
The client provides shift notifications one week in advance.
(From Friday 10pm to Sunday 10pm, shifts are paid at the enhanced rate of £19.48 per hour. Bank holiday working enhancements are also included.)

Operators are responsible for operating and managing industrial trucks to load/unload materials, move them to/from storage areas, machines, loading docks, trucks, or storage facilities.

Forklift Operator Duties and Responsibilities:

• Unload and load materials
• Identify damages
• Report shortages
• Report quality deficiencies
• Transport raw materials to production workstations
• Inspect machinery
• Determine the need for repairs
• Keep updated records of inventory
• Produce activity logs
• Comply with company policies and guidelines
• Assist in maintaining a safe environment

Forklift Operator Requirements and Qualifications:

• Experience as a forklift operator or in a similar role
• Attention to detail
• Good knowledge of industrial equipment
