The position of Forklift Driver involves:

• Using a Counterbalance to load and unload palletised goods from trailers, rigid vehicles, and vans.
• Using the warehouse system & scanner to receive, locate goods into the racking, pick & dispatch whilst handling all goods with care and attention.
• Replenishing and consolidation of stock when required.
• General housekeeping and upkeep of the warehousing area and equipment.
• Completing any relevant paperwork in line with the warehouse processes to include reporting any defects.

Essential skills required for Forklift Driver:

• Hold a current Counterbalance forklift licence, although full inhouse training can be provided.
• Good communication and team working skills.
• Attention to detail is essential.
• Ability to work within a fast-paced environment.
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative.

• Starting salary for Forklift Driver is £24,pa, based on working 40 hours per week.
